Rob Hankins is a highly experienced senior executive, having been involved in the human services sectors (aged care, retirement living and private hospitals) in most states in Australia and overseas since migrating in 1979. From managing single entities to large complex groups, he understands the issues, challenges and critical success factors for organisations to achieve their strategic goals.

From mid-2001 until early 2015, Rob was the Chief Executive of ECH Inc., a large charitable provider of affordable retirement homes and aged care services in South Australia. Under his leadership, ECH grew from a $36M to a $126M turnover business, providing a broad range of aged care and housing services to more than 8,000 older people each year.

More recently, Rob has assisted organisations with strategic advisory services and interim chief executive roles to re-position and underpin their services in their marketplace. Clients have appreciated his extensive connections, reputation and ability to identify and deliver creative, sustainable solutions to complex challenges.

Rob is an experienced board director and is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. As a strategist, facilitator and implementer – who combines the notion of ‘risk and opportunity’ while ensuring long-term sustainability – he knows how to create the right balance between governance, risk management and business growth. He has lead several strategic acquisition and divestment initiatives.

Rob has also served as National President and Chair of Aged & Community Services Australia (ACSA) and, in 2014, he received ACSA’s Individual Award for Services to the Aged Care Sector.

When Rob has a moment to himself, he likes to don his running gear and head off on tracks that take him away from city streets into Australia’s wonderful semi-rural environment.

James Grealy is a highly regarded aged care executive with extensive experience in restructuring services, and building and leading high performing teams.

From 2011 to 2015, James was Chief Operating Officer and then Chief Executive Officer at Aquarius Aged Care (formerly BCP Health & Aged Care). Prior to this, he worked for more than six years on dementia sensitive design, quality programs and operational modelling. He was also an executive with one of the largest leading Christian aged care providers in Australia where he managed Quality, Risk and Capital, and was responsible for the development of a new person-centred model of care.
James has conducted a number of industry-based research programs, including ‘Resistance to Care as a Cause of Staff Injury in Dementia Care’ funded by WorkCover SA Inc. 2005. He was the dementia expert on the DoHA-funded Dementia Curriculum Stocktake 2007, and dementia expert for Oral Health Program for Residential Care (2011) and Oral Health Community Care (2014). He is also a board member of Aman, NSW Lebanese Muslim Association aged care.

Known as a transformational leader, James has a proven record for delivering optimal outcomes in quality of care and service, risk management and financial performance. He also likes dogs and fine Italian leather goods.

Tom Grealy is a seasoned international customer operations executive with deep experience in building and managing geographically dispersed, world-class service operations.

Tom is known for delivering successful transformational change in customer-facing and back office organisations. He understands how to successfully manage the issues and challenges associated with driving change, including improving quality, compliance and productivity as drivers of customer experience.

For 15 years, Tom worked as a senior executive for Telstra. After several marketing roles, he was a key leader in Telstra’s customer operations team responsible for 12 million consumer and small business customers. He was a director on a number of Telstra boards, including Telstra International Philippines Inc. and the Telstra Foundation-Philippines.
A strong believer in public service, prior to Telstra Tom served as a diplomat working for the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for 13 years.
Tom was elected President of ANZCHAM-Philippines in March 2015 – the peak Australian business organisation in the Philippines (with over 300 member companies).
Tom also serves on the board of Cardinal Health Philippines Inc.

Married with two school-aged children, Tom loves nothing more than spending time with his kids and maintaining an active interest in current affairs.

Alex Anderson has many years of significant experience leading aged care and retirement finance teams in change and transformation situations.

Since 2011, Alex has achieved industry expertise in aged care and retirement systems and processes: billing, funding management and profitability, accommodation contributions, and workforce management and staffing costs. He is proficient in managing the balance sheet and modelling project feasibilities for growth opportunities in aged care.

Alex has a special skill for presenting financial performance so that an executive team can fully understand what is driving business performance and where business levers can be placed.

From 2014 to 2015, as Financial Controller and then Chief Financial Officer for Aquarius Aged Care, Alex managed legislative change – Living Longer Living Better – and, ultimately, guided the business through due diligence and sale to Opal Specialist Aged Care. He was also finance leader on retirement living village development projects at Stockland.

Before working in aged care and retirement, Alex built a solid financial skill-set working in infrastructure, construction, and international business and resources. He completed a Master of International Finance at Deakin University, and is a member of CPA Australia.

Away from work, Alex is a family man who enjoys sport.
